Queen Beryl took on the task of
sending her top generals to Earth to drain human
energy to offer to Queen Metallia so that
Metallia could be revived. Soon after Metallia is
revived, Berly fuses with Metallia and attacks
the Moon Princess.
She is also responsible for
the death of Zoisite and encasing Jadeite in a
crystal for eternal sleep.
Nothing is known about Jadeite's
past. He was taken under the influence of Queen
Metallia and rose to the ranks of general in the
human army that invaded the Moon Kingdom. He and
his comrades were banished to the relm known
later as the Dark Kingdom by the power of the
Illusion Silver Crystal. Jadeite took on the task
of collecting energy from humans for Queen Beryl.
He sent his first youma, Mourga, to impersonate
the mother of Naru Osaka. However, Sailor Moon
and Tuxedo Kamen ruined his plans. After several
failed missions, Queen Beryl grows impatient with
Jadeite and he was eventually encased in a
crystal to sleep eternally.
Nephrite was the second general
to attempt to collect human energy. He even had
an alias in the real world by the name of Masato Sanjouin. Nephrite had about the
same luck as Jadeite. He and Naru Osaka had sort
of a mutual interest for each other and
unfortunatly this led to his death at the hands
of Zoisite.
Zoisite is a man. American
viewers only saw DIC's version of the series.
Zoisite had the responsibility of ressurecting
the seven legendary youma and finding the
Illusion Silver Crystal. He deifed Queen Beryl's
orders by mortally wounding Tuxedo Kamen and was
killed by Beryl.
Kunzite wasn't in the series for
very long. He had a few missions before falling
at the hands of the Sailor Senshi. He was the
only general killed by the sailors.
She led the assault on the moon
kingdom with Queen Beryl. Through the series she
is in the form of a cocoon and when Beryl is
wounded by one of Tuxedo Kamen's roses, she fuses
with Beryl and attacks Sailor Moon, who has
assumed the role of Princess Serenity.
Unfortunatly, the combined power of the Illusion
Silver Crystal and Princess Serenity is too much
for her to handle and she is engulfed by the
energy and is destroyed.
